Initial Status Report:
a) I am currently in the initial stages of creating my EP. I have created folders on my computer that align with the required categories of our portfolios. I have started renaming all the documents that I plan on using in my portfolio so they are all in the same format. After speaking with Bethany I have also decided that I will use Google docs to house my EP.
b) Since I will be completing part of my student teaching experience in Russia, I want to create a folder to display the work I do overseas. I also want to create a folder that highlights other relevant experience I have in the field of young adolescents. For example, I have done a lot of tutoring, babysitting, EOG proctoring, etc.
c) I'm thinking about using a photo of an open road to symbolize the endless possibilities I have as an educator. I've also considered using a photo of the Blue Ridge Mountains to signify where I come from, as well as the ups and downs that come with being a teacher.
Status Report 2 9/28
After our most recent workshop with Bethany, I have changed my course of action and decided to use a Weebly page to house my portfolio. I played around with the site for a little while and realized that it is just as easy to use as Google Docs, but it also offers more creative options. After talking with Bethany, I have decided to create an intro video for each of my categories, rather than simply writing an intro.

I created two really great intro videos for my Content Knowledge and Pedagogical Knowledge page, but after trying to embed them on my Weebly, I discovered that I have to have Weebly Pro to put them on my page. I am still going to talk to Bethany to see if there is anyway to get by this requirement on the website, but if not it was a wasted workday :(
Status Report 4
Today I created annotations for several of my evidences as well as added a few quotes to my page. Seriously considering changing my theme, but not sure what I'd change it to. I'm playing around with the idea of a North Carolina Theme since NC history is my favorite subject.

Made my annotated class list today. Also deleted a few of my evidences in the Content knowledge area because I think I have too many and there is no way that an employer would go through all of the items. I chose my best ones and kept those on there.
